Man Jailed for Life for Murder of Wife in Bradford
Habibur Masum, 27, of Leamington Avenue, Burnley, was sentenced to a minimum of 28 years in prison on Tuesday, YYYY-MM-DD, for the murder of his wife, Kulsuma Akter, 27. The attack occurred in April YYYY, in Bradford city centre, as Ms. Akter pushed their seven-month-old child in a pram. Ms. Akter was stabbed 26 times. The child was unharmed. Masum was convicted of murder following a trial at Bradford Crown Court last month. Mr Justice Cotter described the attack as "vicious and merciless."
